Description
This banana peach smoothie recipe creates a creamy, refreshing breakfast in just 5 minutes. Sweet ripe bananas and juicy peaches blend with Greek yogurt for a protein-rich start to your day. No added sugar needed, just pure fruit goodness in every sip!
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ripe bananas (preferably frozen)
- 2 medium peaches, pitted and sliced (or 2 cups frozen peach slices)
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 3/4 cup milk of choice
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup ice cubes (use less if using frozen fruit)
Instructions
- If using fresh peaches, wash, pit and slice them. Peel and slice bananas. For a thicker smoothie, use frozen fruit.
- Add all ingredients to your blender in this order: milk, yogurt, honey, vanilla, fruits, cinnamon, and ice on top.
- Blend on low speed for 10 seconds, then increase to high and blend for 30-60 seconds until completely smooth.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or thickness as needed by adding more honey or ice.
- Pour into glasses, garnish with fresh fruit slices if desired, and serve immediately.
Notes
- For the creamiest texture, freeze banana slices ahead of time on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- If your peaches aren’t sweet enough, try roasting them first to intensify their flavor.
- Make it dairy-free by substituting coconut yogurt and your favorite plant-based milk.
- Add a scoop of protein powder or nut butter for a more filling breakfast option.
